Lisa began her real estate practice in Cambridge in 2002. Over the years she has built a reputation for quality and fairness, has expanded her reach to include Belmont, Somerville and Arlington and now leads the Real Estate Team of Lindsay Allison and Lisa May. Lisa came to real estate with a background in marketing, fund-raising, and design. She offers a seasoned but creative perspective on how to market real estate and is an exceptionally insightful communicator, with a remarkable ability to solve problems and see every transaction through to the end, adding value at each stage along the way.
A resident of Belmont, Lisa lives with her husband, Tevere MacFadyen, and two children, Christopher and Sam. She is involved with the community and schools in Belmont as a parent, a citizen and a resident. She recently joined the Board of Hearth Shares, an exciting new initiative raising money to fight homelessness through the restaurant industry in Greater Boston. Her husband is a principal of Main Street Design, an exhibit design firm specializing in natural history museums and aquariums.
Over the past thirty-five years selling real estate in Cambridge, Lindsay has consistently been one of the top agents in the city, specializing in historic and architecturally interesting properties. She has a background in Art History and an avid interest in architecture, preservation and design. During her decorated career, Lindsay has built a reputation for artfully preparing and marketing properties for sale, as well as for skillfully negotiating offers to the greatest benefit of her clients. She offers a calm and strategic perspective that comes from years of living through the ups and downs of many markets.
A resident of Cambridge and Martha's Vineyard, Lindsay has a long history of giving back to the community. She has served on multiple neighborhood historic commissions and as a head gardener at MyToi, a Japanese style garden on Chappaquiddick Island. A mother of two children and a grandmother of two more, Lindsay has lived in Harvard Square since 1979. Her husband Blake is a partner in Dingman Allison Architects and, over the years, they have done a number of renovation and restoration projects.
Abby serves as our Director of Operations, providing the glue that holds our group together and the consistent support that enables me to be available to you, to potential buyers and to cooperating agents. Abby keeps complicated transactions organized and ensures everyone meets deadlines.
A member of the millennial generation, Abby is technologically savvy and has inherent appreciation for online and social media marketing. She has a background in the restaurant and hospitality industry, is a delight to work with and is always available to go the extra mile for me and our clients.
